Description

CDCs play a vital role in helping entrepreneurs start, grow, and sustain successful businesses, but no two business assistance programs look exactly alike. This introductory session will provide board members with an overview of business technical assistance, explore the range of services CDCs may offer from business planning, marketing, financial management, and bookkeeping to loan readiness and access to capital and highlight how different organizations tailor their approach through 1-1 advising, workshops, and stakeholder partnerships.

In this workshop, CDC board members will gain a better understanding of how these services strengthen small businesses, support the local economy, and advance their own CDC mission.

This workshop will be facilitated by MACDC’s Director of Economic Development, Yari DeJesus.
