This workshop focuses on governance responsibilities related to audits, contracts, procurement, and organizational risk. Participants will learn how to read audit reports, interpret management letters, understand high-risk contract areas, and define appropriate board oversight roles without stepping into operations. The session introduces a practical risk governance framework to help boards prioritize oversight and strengthen accountability and decision-making.
The workshop is facilitated by Amanda D’Annucci-Kean, a nonprofit finance and governance consultant with over fifteen years of experience working with boards and executive leaders on financial oversight, revenue strategy, and organizational sustainability.
