Join Local Housing Authority (LHA) board members from across Massachusetts for an interactive forum focused on effective resident outreach and engagement. The session will begin with a brief presentation by Viana Nascimento, Leadership Development Manager at MACDC’s Mel King Institute, followed by peer discussion, practical examples, and shared strategies.

Participants will explore how board members can engage with residents to identify broader community concerns that may require board attention, while also learning how to respond appropriately to individual requests and concerns that fall outside the board’s responsibilities. The forum will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss common challenges, and strengthen approaches to resident engagement and effective board governance.

Free and available to all LHA Board Members.
