Description

Join other Local Housing Authority board members from across the state for a short presentation by one or more of your peers, followed by an open forum discussion on a leadership topic. This first forum will explore the concept of “soft authority,” which refers to influence earned through respect and trust rather than direct power. Hear examples of how others have built this type of influence with fellow board members, tenant groups, and LHA staff, and bring your own experiences and challenges to share.

This forum will be facilitated by our Leadership Development Manager, Viana Nascimento, in partnership with consultants from CultureAlly.

This session is free and open to all Local Housing Authority Board Members.
