This interactive workshop equips non-profit board members with the tools to lead with an equity lens across all aspects of board service. Participants will explore how to center equity in key board responsibilities—from inclusive recruitment and onboarding practices to fostering open, respectful dialogue that values all voices during decision-making and conflict. The session will also cover how to evaluate organizational investments in programs, services, and expenditures through an equity framework and how to apply that same lens when reviewing or revising bylaws, codes of conduct, and board governance policies.

Attendees will leave with practical strategies to embed equity into their board culture, strengthen accountability, and guide their nonprofit toward more just and inclusive outcomes.
