Description

For seven years a group of over 50 residents, researchers, community partners, and advocates have worked together as members of the Healthy Neighborhoods Consortium (HNS). This participatory research action (PAR) project seeks to understand how neighborhood changes like gentrification and climate change impact health of the residents who have lived in their communities the longest and are most impacted by what’s going on. Central to their work is taking action to make sure that their communities remain healthy, affordable places to live and thrive.

In this interactive webinar HNS Resident Researchers, community partners, and study staff from the Conservation Law Foundation will share lessons learned from their work, and help residents and community groups prepare to take on their own participatory action research projects focused on topics most important to them.
