Description
Measurable Equity 2021: Funding Racial Progress
Discover What Works To Turn The Curve On Racial And Ethnic Disparities.
Racial equity is the just and fair inclusion into a society in which all can participate, prosper, and reach their full potential. In America today, from infant mortality to educational outcomes to life expectancy, race predicts how well someone will do. To achieve equity, we must work to close the gap so that race does not predict one’s success, while at the same time improving outcomes for all.
With a whole new line-up of dynamic speakers, Measurable Equity 2021 will bring you the best national and global initiatives incorporating the use of data to achieve racial equity. If you missed last year, or would just like to revisit the 2020 sessions, you can access them as soon as you register. There will also be various opportunities to engage, network, and participate; including Leaderboard and Turn the Curve Poster Contests!
OUR GOAL FOR THIS EVENT IS TO INCREASE UNDERSTANDING OF HOW WE CAN COLLECTIVELY WORK TOGETHER TO:
Target strategies to focus improvements for those most affected
Move beyond just providing “services” and focus on changing policies, institutions, and structures
Align partners to take action and track progress
Create greater alignment between funding and performance reporting to achieve greater racial equity progress
