Description

This training builds upon the MKI training, Approaches to Supervision, to offer more depth and discussion around the supervision and program management of adult staff. It addresses power in the workplace and how power influences workplaces dynamics. The training discusses professional development and supervising across difference. Participants will build on personal experience to understand and build effect supervisor relationships.

Objectives:

  • Define power and its impact in workplace dynamics
  • Identifies strategies for supervising across difference
  • Practice giving positive and developmental feedback
  • Explore options for professional development to supervisees
