Description
Everyone has biases. Those we know are called explicit bias; those that are subconscious as implicit or unconscious bias. The unconscious/implicit biases drive the majority of our decisions, in life and business. Whether intentional or not, implicit biases influence decisions, operations, and the culture in the workplace. Biases can be positive or negative, and having a bias does not make someone a bad person. It is not recognizing and shifting negative institutional biases that leads to bad issues in the nonprofit workplace.
