Summary: This will be the first of four quarterly gatherings to be held during phase 2 of the Innovation Forum. The session will follow up on one of the key recommendations to emerge from Phase One: that the Community Development Sector needs to be much more effective about telling our story in the context of today’s economic and social environment. The session will be run in part by Action Media (www.actionmedia.org), a nationally known organization with deep expertise in values-based messaging and how to apply those tools to the housing and community development sector. Action Media’s workshop will present research and tools on how to effectively communicate about our field and our work and give attendees an opportunity to begin applying those tools to their current work.
